These are exciting times for The Lift Church. We are rapidly growing and needing to expand. We have now exceeded our space in The Lift Kids Ministry wing, most seats are full during Sunday morning services, and we need more room for gatherings and fellowship. Because of the tremendous growth, we are actively involved in a targeted vision campaign to provide a new building at least double the size of the one we are currently leasing. In addition to those needs, the property we have been leasing for the past five years has sold. The new owners are graciously allowing us to stay a few more months. But the time to move is now! So, as the saying goes, the Lord is stirring our nest and moving us up and onward.
The vision is off to a great start. At this point, we have received $38,107.00 toward the vision! To achieve our goal, it is imperative that our friends and family, business owners, and others step forward with vigor. The deadline is upon us to bring our purpose to funding the priorities to fruition, and we believe we will rise to the challenge.
WHAT IS THE PRIORITY?
The Lord spoke to believe Him for 1,000 people to give $1,000 or more. Why? The reality is that real estate in the region where God placed us isn’t cheap! We need $1,000,000 to get into our next facility and do it right. I believe some will give $5,000, some $10,000, someone even $100,000. Some will give more, some less but each doing something will release the breakthrough.
Will you pray about your part in this miracle? Perhaps you will be part of 1000 with a $1000 or possibly 1000 with $500, or part of 1000 with $100? Please know that every gift is important! No donation is too small nor too big. The vision is bigger still.
This current focus is for the money needed to get us into our next facility and remodel the facility for our use. And as always, we sow a tithe of what comes into this ministry – so your gift becomes twice planted seed!
THE BIG WHY?
We are simply filling up! We need a larger facility to facilitate the GOD-GIVEN purpose of The Lift Church in Sevier Co. and surrounding areas. The mandate from heaven on our lives is to lead this church in reaching, teaching, and elevating people to their destinies. We would never ask for money for ourselves – God forbid! But we will ask for the fulfillment of the mandate: to see lives changed, souls saved, and revival-awakening in this generation.
We rejoice in the lives of those already radically impacted by the ministry of The Lift! Like a young man who “can’t remember when I wasn’t addicted to drugs.” He is clean for over a year now and growing in freedom and maturity in Christ. And a young single mother, whose life was in a tight spot but now entirely sold out to Christ, finishing her degree, holding down a job, volunteering in the church and an incredible mom to her child. We could get specific about the dozens more whose marriages are now strong; ministries are beginning to flourish, destinies become clear, bondages now a memory instead of a living nightmare! Praise the Lord for what He has done! And praise Him for the greater that is ahead!
The Lift Church, while not the only voice for revival, is one of the leading voices for awakening. And, while we know there are many other anointed, amazing, purpose-filled churches in our area, we will not shrink back from the truth that we are a voice in this generation, as well. We don’t say this in arrogance. We are merely embracing the call on our lives as The Lift, a gathering place open to receive the hurting, dying, withering, hungry, thirsty hearts that long for MORE. Remember that you too were broken and someone gift changed your life. NOW here’s a great opportunity for you to be that someone for someone!
NOW IS THE TIME!
Our burning passion is the same now as since our childhood – to be part of the voices raised to bring life to a generation. We’ve fulfilled this purpose on many levels in many different ways, but we never imagined it would be through the planting of The Lift Church back in 2012! Now, expansion is here. It’s more than a need; it is VISION fulfilled!
We know where God guides, He provides! We also know He uses people in the earth to fund and resource His work.
