It is with broken hearts we have to announce that we will not be having Camp Tribe 2020. This would be our 24th year of having youth camp. You can imagine the difficulty it was for us to make this decision.

After much prayerful deliberation and collaboration, we had to conclude that having Camp Tribe under the new regulations and guidelines would just not be feasible. The requirements for gloves, masks, checking temps everyday; then, not able to have the rock climbing wall, pool, and other activities; trying to social distance…all of that takes away from the Camp experience.

In addition, now that we understand much more about the health department’s involvement in COVID19 cases, and the system by which they operate, if just one student or volunteer were to attend camp and begin having symptoms during the week of camp, a great majority of the other attendees lives would be affected. Either affected by being quarantined for 14 days or by being infected by the virus.

While we’ve had our share of lice outbreaks in a cabin, flus, common summer colds, and stomach bugs through the years at camp, and managed them very well under the care of our amazing nurses, COVID19 is being handled much differently by CDC and the health departments. They get completely involved in your personal lives. We are not saying it’s a bad thing, just different.

We are confident Camp Tribe 2021 will be THE BEST year of camp we’ve ever experienced! Make plans to join us for our 25th year of youth camp.

We are more than mad at the devil. He is a liar! We encourage you to adopt our new slogan in reference to all of this:

OUR REVENGE WILL BE REVIVAL!! It will be a revival of souls saved and lives changed for the Kingdom of Heaven!

We are planning a Tribe Awakening Rally soon! It will most likely be hosted in Sevierville, TN for three night services, and morning rallies. As soon as we have the dates finalized, you’ll receive all the info, along with hotel information.

We love you all. We are praying for you! For this generation,

Pastors Keith and Margie Nix
