“We lose sight of Jesus when our rigid traditions overshadow the energizing presence of God.”

What Readers Are Saying

This book is past due. The church can become the “killing field” for so many.

It is also a personal pain for me.

Our youngest daughter asked, begging to go to a bible school in another country.. all of our other kids had stayed home and attended a highly regarded Methodist college. We went with her, found and furnished an apartment, bought transportation and wept as she drove away from us as we returned home.

She has never recovered.

She came home bitter, hating God, hating the church, we continue to pray and grieve over the lost years and opportunities.

This book is a prescription for restoration and redemption. I really shouldn’t expect anything less from my friend and man of God Keith Nix. He’ll help you get a handle on your hurt, and let you see the power of redemption intended from the beginning in His body, known as…the church.

Philip Cameron
Missionary Evangelist and Host of Daily Faith TV

Pastor Keith Nix has put his finger on a crisis many have felt but few have dared to name: we are losing Jesus in church. Not because He has left us—He promised never to do that—but because, in our busyness, our programs, and even our good intentions, we can become so distracted that we assume He’s still walking with us when, in reality, we’ve wandered away.

This book is not just a challenge—it’s an invitation. An invitation to return to Jesus, to make His presence our priority, and to rediscover the power of truly knowing Him.

My prayer is that as you turn these pages, the Holy Spirit will stir something deep within you. That He will awaken a hunger for more of Jesus. That every distraction, every tradition that has placed Him in the background, will fade away, leaving only the beauty of His presence. Because at the end of the day, it is not our churches, our ministries, or our programs that will save us—it is Jesus.

Founder of Greater Love TV Network & Oasis Ministries

Pastor Keith Nix has written a timely and prophetic word for the body of Christ. Losing Jesus in Church is more than a warning—it’s a wake-up call. With clarity, conviction, and compassion, Keith puts language to what many have sensed but struggled to articulate: that in our pursuit of ministry success, we can lose sight of the very One we’re meant to serve.

This book is a bold confrontation of spiritual drift and a beautiful invitation back to the feet of Jesus. It’s deeply theological yet accessible, filled with personal insights, scriptural depth, and pastoral heart. Pastor Keith doesn’t just diagnose the problem—he equips us with practical principles to rekindle our love for Jesus and re-center the Church around His presence.

As you read, you’ll weep, you’ll repent, and you’ll burn again. This is more than a book—it’s a summons. A summons to rediscover the One who never left, but whom we’ve often overlooked. I wholeheartedly recommend Losing Jesus in Church to every pastor, leader, and believer longing to make Jesus the main thing again.
